Meet Anita Page, author of Damned If You Don’t and editor of Family Matters: Murder New York Style

_anitapage-feb11Anita Page’s short stories have appeared in anthologies, ezines and print journals including The Gift of Murder (Wolfmont Press), The Prosecution Rests (Little, Brown), Murder New York Style (L&L Dreamspell), Fresh Slices (Glenmere Press), Deadly Debut (Glenmere Press), The Back Alley, Mysterical-e, Word Riot, Mouth Full of Bullets, and Ball State University Forum. She received a Derringer Award from the Short Mystery Fiction Society in 2010 for “’Twas the Night,” which appeared in The Gift of Murder.

Damned If You Don’t, a dark traditional mystery set in the Catskill Mountains, is her first novel.

Despite her New York City roots and the fact that she loves her bucolic corner of the Hudson Valley, when it comes to writing about murder, her heart returns to the Catskills, where she lived for a number of years.

She is a member of Sisters in Crime, Mystery Writers of America, the Short Mystery Fiction Society, and the Association for the Prevention of Cruelty to Weeds and Dust (APCWD) of which she is the proud founder. She can be found online at www.womenofmystery.net, and www.anitapagewriter.blogspot.com.
